I bought this to add Bluetooth capability to my Bose Wave Radio IV. It is very small, easy to set up, and pairs easily to my laptop pc. I can now hear audio from my computer wirelessly thru my Bose Wave Radio, whether streaming music or watching movies. It sounds awesome! I like that it has option of connecting to an audio device by either 3.5mm jack or RCA audio connectors. You will need to provide your own USB power adapter as there is not one included. Not really an issue for me, I've got quite a few lying around. I would recommend this one. It is simple to operate and has been working reliably.
These are great. There are now 4 of these in my life at various places, friends, etc. They simply work. Once you understand the pairing quirks, it becomes this super convenient way for anyone to connect and share audio over BT. I’m a super audio nerd, but I don’t use these for any critical listening. I use these for streaming already compressed music, MP3, Spotify, etc. So for that use, I think it sounds completely great. I haven’t noticed any sound degradation or issues. Oldest one I’ve used is over a year old and still going strong. For the price & convenience, these lil dudes haven’t let me or anyone I know down. Pretty cool
First, I really wanted one of the square blocky models for the aesthetics. This model looks like an old USB wi-fi dongle from 2005, but it’s fine. Ultimately I picked it because the price was good and I could get same-day Prime shipping with it. Also, I didn’t want or need a volume control or a battery so that was a plus.I bought this to connect to my vintage Sony mini component hi-fi, which I will qualify as sounding amazing. The sound streamed from this Bluetooth unit is excellent and indistinguishable from a CD played directly on the hi-fi.As far as connectivity it is very easy to pair. Once paired the unit will go to sleep after awhile, indicated by a blinking light. I initially thought the lone button has to be clicked once to wake the unit, but this is not so. If I manually select the unit from my list of paired devices, the unit will wake and pair with my iPhone quite quickly. I renamed the unit to the model name of the hi-fi and I use it every night now.I do wish it came with a power adapter but I knew it was lacking one when I bought it. Had I not needed it same-day I likely would have spent a few more bucks and got a different unit just to have a power adapter included. I am happy with the unit overall, however. It is simple and easy and sounds perfect.
