I replaced a previous generation, lower cost Bluetooth Receiver with this. I had noted two limitations with my older generation receiver - Latency and a slight muddying of music with large ranges of volume between the notes and sounds.First, the performance:(1) This fixed the lag between lips moving and the sound on music videos where I played the sound through my stereo and looked at the image on my iPad. It was a distinctly noticeable improvement.(2) There is a subtle but important improvement in the resolution of the audio in that it is possible to Improve the ability to distinguish very low volume sounds and notes in the presence of louder notes and music in the material. It also somewhat improves the clarity of certain music. Bear in mind that unless you are using very good speakers and a very good audio amplifier and you possess “musical ears” you may not hear the difference in the audio resolution. I am not a musician but I am a critical listener to my music.Quality:The unit is small and seems to be well made. It feels solid and seems to work reliably.Ease of Use:The only reason I did not give the product 5 stars is that you have to supply your own USB type power supply. I think that for the cost of this unit it should have included the power supply. They supply the power cord, but no power supply. It’s not a big issue as most of us have a spare smartphone charger lying about.I had no problems linking to my iPad - It connects And links like most Bluetooth devices. No issue here.Update: If you are using Apple devices iPad, iPhone you CAN NOT use more than one of these in the same house. In the most current version of iOS Apple does NOT allow you to rename most Bluetooth devices. As far as I know, only Apple’s own Bluetooth devices can be renamed in iOS. This Bluetooth device shows up as “Inno-Maker” in your list of Bluetooth devices. When you add a second one there is a conflict as they have the same name and you cannot add the second one unless you power off the first one and “forget it” in your Bluetooth list. Obviously this is not a practical solution so I have to return the second device I purchased.
An easy solution for iPhone to stereo compatibility. Good price.
Fair price for a Bluetooth receiver with LDAC support. Setup is easy and audio quality seems very good, but with one deal-breaking flaw: when transmitting audio tracks streamed from a playlist in e.g. Spotify or Qobuz, there is a quiet but clearly discernible ‘pop’ sound at the end of every track and at the start of each new track. I’m guessing that this has something to do with the the onboard chip shutting off the amplifier output when the device senses that audio playback has ‘ended’ and then switching it back on when it senses a ‘new’ playback request. This noise occurs with any audio stream when a signal starts or ends, but it is particularly distracting when listening to a music playlist, because you hear it between every track. I imagine that it would be much less bothersome when listening to extended audio feeds like movie soundtracks or whatever, because you’d only get the ‘pop’ sound once at the beginning and again at the end of the audio playback, but with music playlists, it’s a deal breaker for me.I tried all of the available Bluetooth streaming protocols and settings available through my phone and even tried several different phones to make sure it wasn’t something external to the receiver, but I couldn’t find a way to eliminate the ‘pop’ sound. Happened with all audio sources and devices and all transmission protocols.I’ll be returning this. If you don’t think you’ll be bothered by a subtle popping noise at the start/end of every audio file, then you might otherwise like this.

WHAT IS A VPN AND WHY SHOULD I USE IT FOR MY FORMULER?

virtual private network (VPN) provides privacy, anonymity and security to users by creating a private network connection across a public network connection. VPNs can be used in combination with proxy servers, and overlay networks.

Top Three Reasons To Have A VPN On Your Formuler Device?

Everybody can benefit from the use and the aid that a reliable VPN provider has to offer. During peak times you will be able to stream your favorite content while your next door neighbor is still trying to get something to load. In our case, it is evidently clear that, since the nature of the software, you would be better off protecting your identity while you use this phenomenal app.

#1. You Get To Hide Your Streaming Activity

Since providers have developed a little bit of a bad reputation on some minor Internet circles, however the best VPN for Formuler or Dreamlink devices have to put your privacy and anonymity at the top of the priorities’ list. Most of that rep is not fair, given that we have not or do not not endorse or promote any violation of copyrighted content.

However, as a user you need to be entirely sure that any other software or application will not get you into any trouble, so here is where a VPN can help you. If you use one, you will hide your streaming activity, and no Governmental agency or Internet Service Provider will be able to identify that you are using this platform.

Also, you need a VPN for your streaming device experience because you can access almost all add-ons and plugins in the world, no matter where you are. If you learn how to install a VPN service in your Formuler or Dreamlink platform, you could connect to a specific country and all the geo-restricted add-ons would become instantly available to you.

#2. You Can Bypass Peak Times Of ISP Throttling

ISP Throttling, also called bandwidth throttling in some circles, is the deliberate act performed by ISPs of slowing down the users’ Internet connection. It is usually a reactive measure that these networks implement because the Internet and network traffic are congested.

If you use a VPN service provider, you can avoid your ISP throttling your connection on purpose, and thus you can enjoy the best online streaming content in your Formuler software with relative peace and tranquility.

#3. You Get Access To Unlock All Geo-Restricted Content

There are several TV Shows, Movies, and Sports streams that are not available worldwide. For instance, Netflix UK provides some of the shows that are not available for US users. So if you switch to the UK IP, you can access Netflix UK and its complete inventory. If you are a big-time Netflix user, you should read our article about the Best VPN For Formuler & MyTVOnline 2.

Moreover, there are a few popular folders that are geo-restricted. Keep that in mind if you use the Kodi platform. If you have a VPN, you can unblock them all.
