The media could not be loaded. Cons:- Its pretty massive- microphone not included-No way to tell the level of battery life- Considering how loud the sound it is the bass & treble is a bit disappointing-The radio distorts too often. If you desire a capable radio look elsewhere. Fortunately I have other radios and didnt need this feature .Pros:-Volume/loudness! Its plenty in a gym and outside in a HS football stadium for track workouts where I use it most-The battery performance duration- Clear, clean sound from both bluetooth and auxillary modes-Easy to transport despite its size due to its wheels & pullout handle-Open bottom port for It can be mounted and secured onto a tripod-Simple easy bluetooth pairingIn the video I only had the volume at about 1/3 due to me being in a tight spaced neighborhood (I didnt want any complaints) but even so it was still loud enough to show off
This speaker does what it says: It's big, loud, has a cool light show, and is reasonably portable. Sounds great, and lasts hours. I had it on pretty high volume for 3 hours the other day and had zero issues with the battery. I don't think there's a battery indicator, per se, so I'm not sure how much battery life was left, but I'm happy. I'd add that the remote is one of those cheap IR remotes that seems to come with everything that has RGB lighting these days. It requires line-of-sight, doesn't work great outdoors, and the sensor is on the back of the unit. It's basically useless, since it won't really work more than a couple feet away. If you really need a remote, I'd say this probably isn't the model for you. It's not an important feature to me, since spotify over bluetooth basically turns my phone into a much, much better remote anyway.I think the bigger issue to add is that I initially received a defective unit. The charger connector did not work without tugging on the cable, and even then it was only spotty. Pyle support was severely lacking, demanding that you "chat" with them through Facebook messenger, during short business hours, with responses taking at least 24 hours, and always asking for more documentation or pictures.However, when I contacted Amazon, the seller instantly offered to send a new unit, which they did. It was a painless process, very fast, and the new unit arrived in perfect working order! I'm glad to know that the seller and Amazon stand behind their products, even when the manufacturer tries to avoid doing so.
While I buy plenty of products on Amazon, I write very few reviews. In this case, the manufacturer (Pyle) has required a review in order to receive what was billed as "a Free Gift in exchange for registering the product." Let me explain...I was searching for a simple speaker for some small events. This product looked like the perfect solution. When it arrived, the battery in the remote control was dead. I replaced the battery, but most of the buttons on the remote didn't work. After a number of email exchanges, Pyle sent me a new remote. It still had issues, but worked slightly better.I also discovered the power cord had what appeared to be a loose wire. It had to be held sharply to the side to work. After several more emails, they sent a new cord. It also has an issue, but does work better than the original.Finally, an insert in the package (photo attached) said "Register Your Product and Claim a Free Gift." (A Microphone) That sounded like a good deal, so I registered the product. I received confirmation and an email saying the Registration was Successful... but no mention of the microphone. I contacted Customer Service, who said I need to sent them a screenshot of an Amazon review in order to claim the free gift. Figuring they were just confused, I sent them a PDF of the insert. Another Rep wrote back that I need to send them a screenshot of my Amazon review of the product in order to claim the free gift. Ummm... The insert seems pretty straightforward. This has gone back and forth quite a few times.As I said at the beginning, I rarely write product reviews. In this case, the manufacturer is clearly insisting on it. OK. Here you go!
